Where do these positions fit in ACSioN?
Expected time commitment:
Average of 5 hours per week inclusive of any meetings. May be more during weeks when events are held.

1. Act as the Club’s chief executive officer and the leader of the Chapter Executive Board, in order to oversee and ensure the fulfillment of the Club’s mandate.
2. Oversee the performance of the CEB.
3. With the Outreach Coordinator, represent the CEB internally and externally on official occasions.
4. Call and preside over all meetings of the Club, including both executive and general types.
5. Be responsible for outlining and creating a program of activities for the year in conjunction with their fellow CEB members.
6. Approve the minutes/notes of all CEB meetings after confirmation by the executive board.
7. Be the co-signing officer with the Finance Coordinator of any of the Club’s purchase or cheque requisitions.
8. Maintain a working relationship with the parent and host organizations of the Club, which are ACSioN Canada and the CSU, respectively.
9. In full concert with the other elected Coordinators, appoint all the new Assistant Coordinators of the CEB, as per Article 8.
10. Perform any other duties which are inherent in the role of the Central Coordinator.
1. At the request of the Central Coordinator, assist the Central Coordinator in any of their executive duties.
2. In the event that the Central Coordinator resigns from their post and/or is incapacitated and unable to carry out their duties, the Education Coordinator shall assume the responsibilities of the Central Coordinator by becoming the Acting Central Coordinator for an interim period. See Article 4 for details on the duration of such an interim period.
3. Oversee the proper recording of all the Club’s minutes, proceedings, motions and resolutions.
4. Reconfirm the details of the previous CEB meeting’s notes/minutes in all CEB meetings.
5. Oversee the proper retention of all of the Club’s non-financial records, papers and documents.
6. Oversee the organization and coordination of any of the club’s educational or intellectual activities.
7. Be responsible for booking facilities and/or accommodations necessary for the Club’s activities.
8. In full concert with the other elected Coordinators, appoint all the new Assistant Coordinators of the CEB, as per Article 8.
9. Perform any other duties which are inherent in the role of Education Coordinator.
1. Supervise the Club’s budget, expenditures and revenues.
2. Serve as custodian of all the Club’s financial documents, including invoices.
3. Be the co-signing officer with the Central Coordinator of any of the Club’s purchase or cheque requisitions.
4. Be responsible for all the monies of the Club.
5. Be responsible for the preparation of budgets in conjunction with their fellow CEB members.
6. Be responsible for the maintenance of proper accounting records, and for the issuance of financial reports for the Club to the Club’s members and ACSioN Canada upon request.
7. In full concert with the other elected Coordinators, appoint all the new Assistant Coordinators of the CEB, as per Article 8.
8. Perform any other duties which are inherent in the role of Finance Coordinator.
1. Facilitate direct contact with potential and current members of the Club.
2. Coordinate ongoing member engagement efforts for the Club.
3. Ensure that the Club’s official member list is up-to-date.
4. Be responsible for the publicizing of all the Club’s activities, including the production of promotional materials.
5. Manage the Club’s internal and external correspondence in conjunction with both the Central Coordinator and Education Coordinator.
6. In full concert with the other elected Coordinators, appoint all the new Assistant Coordinators of the CEB, as per Article 8.
7. Perform any other duties which are inherent in the role of Outreach Coordinator.
NOTE: Prospective candidates may only apply for Coordinator roles at this time.
(Assistant Coordinators will be appointed by the elected Coordinators during the Fall 2026 semester.)

Join us virtually for the elections information session at 7:30pm on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, hosted by ACSioN senior leadership members.
This info session is optional, but highly recommended. Bring all your questions!

Once that’s done, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your request for nomination as a registered candidate. Then, we’ll follow-up with you about the campaign period.
The earlier you register, the more time you have to get your campaign rolling!

Tell your fellow ACSioN-Concordia members about your vision for our community and how you can make a difference as part of next year’s exec team.
Also, don’t forget to ask them to vote for you – “likes” are nice, but votes actually count!

Participate in the elections:
Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 at 4:00PM.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive further details by email about how to participate in the actual elections on the big day.
Remember you have until Sunday, March 29th, 2026 at 11:59pm to register, whether you want to vote or be a candidate.

All elected candidates must also participate in the following activities:
- a) Post-election meeting (virtual)
- 1 session during the week of April 5th, 2026.
- b) Orientation sessions (in-person and/or virtual)
- 1 or 2 per month from May through September 2026.
PLEASE NOTE that to be eligible to vote in the Concordia chapter elections, you must be both:
a.) A registered ACSioN Network member. If you haven’t done so, please go ahead and register now – it only takes 2 minutes!
b.) A current undergraduate student at Concordia University with a valid student ID number.
